Vintage Italian Florentine Gilt Wood Tray

Vintage Italian Florentine Gilt Round Tray – Red & Gold – 11½"
Beautiful vintage Florentine decorative tray, handmade in Italy, featuring an ornate raised gilt design over a rich crimson-red ground.
The center is decorated with elaborate scrolling foliate motifs and layered gold detailing, surrounded by a scalloped border with alternating red and gilt sections. Years of natural wear have created a wonderful distressed gold and verdigris-toned patina, giving the piece genuine collected character.
